THE electronic Business One-Stop-Shop (eBoss) has registered a total of 6,396 applications as of Friday, January 10, 2025, barely nine days since its implementation started on January 2.
Benjie Barredo, Business Permits and Licensing Division (BPLD) chief, said 6,335 of the total 6,396 applications have been assessed, 3,908 are for payment and with one pending for assessment.
Barredo said more or less 2,427 applicants have paid their taxes, as 2,191 applicants have been issued with printed copies of their business permits.
As this developed, Barredo said business tax collection has reached P37,171,066.40 since eBoss started operation on January 2.
He urged those with pending payments to immediately settle their dues and not wait for the last minute. Deadline for business registration is January 20.
Meanwhile, he said the eBoss at Centro Latino in Paseo del Mar is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays to assist applicants who finds eBOSS challenging. (SunStar Zamboanga)
