AUTHORITIES have arrested a female suspected drug personality during a law enforcement operation in Bongao, the capital town of Tawi-Tawi province, police said Thursday, June 19, 2025.
The police identified the arrested suspect as alias “Hajum,” 47, who is listed as a wanted individual for illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
According to the police, Hajum was arrested through the service of a warrant of arrest around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, in Tubig Tanah, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
She has a standing warrant of arrest with a recommended bail of P200,000 issued by a court in Bongao for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The operation was conducted by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)–Tawi-Tawi Provincial Field Unit, in coordination with the Bongao Municipal Police Station. (SunStar Zamboanga)
