AUTHORITIES arrested the top 10 most wanted person in Lanao del Sur province, police said Thursday, May 22, 2025.
Police Colonel Robert Daculan, Lanao del Sur police director, did not identify the arrested individual. He said the suspect is a 50-year-old resident of Tatayawan North, Tamparan.
Daculan said the suspect was arrested around 5:20 p.m. Monday, May 19, in Tatayawan North village. The arrest was made through the service of arrest warrants.
Daculan said the suspect has outstanding warrants for violating Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
He said a court in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, issued both warrants without recommended bail on May 13, 2025.
The arrested individual is now in police custody at the Tamparan Municipal Police Station for booking and documentation. (SunStar Zamboanga)
