TWO wanted persons were arrested by policemen in separate law enforcement operations in Zamboanga City and in Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
The police identified the arrested wanted persons as Benj Villabos, 37, and Saif Hassan, 26.
The Zamboanga City Police Office’s (ZCPO) Station 7 said that Villabos was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 9:30 a.m. Monday, December 19, in Santa Maria village.
The police said that Villabos has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of cyber libel with P72,000 recommended bail dated October 27, 2022 issued by the court of Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The police said that Hassan was arrested around 1:39 p.m. Monday, December 19, at Sitio Sicanan in Latabon village, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.
The police said that Hassan has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide with P20,000 recommended bail dated July 28, 2020 issued by the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Siocon-Baliguian-Sirawai. (SunStar Zamboanga)
