THREE fishermen and a laborer were arrested in an anti-drug operation in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported, Saturday, July 15, 2023.
Police Colonel Glenn Dulawan, Zamboanga del Norte police director, identified the arrested suspects as the following: Andoy Samsarani Laguyo, 44; Nelson Edai Laguyo, 21, and Barry Tukalan Cailo, 32, all fishermen; and, Roel Mendiola Ordeniza, 37, a laborer.
Dulawan said the four suspects were arrested in an anti-drug operation around 5:45 p.m. Friday, July 14, in Sitio Busikong in Santa Maria village, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.
He said seized from the possession of the suspects were 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000, two P500 bills used as marked money and a P50 bill.
Dulawan said the suspects were detained and charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
