Ampati said Basi surrendered Sunday, April 12, at the headquarters of the Fourth Special Force Battalion in the village of Cabunbata, Isabela City, the capital of Basilan province.

Ampati said Basi turned over an improvised rocket-propelled grenade launcher and rifle grenade ammunition.

He said more than 200 ASG members already surrendered to the different military units in Basilan as security situation in the province improves. (SunStar Zamboanga)
