A BUSINESSMAN was arrested in an anti-drug operation in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Friday, February 17, 2023.
Police Colonel Glenn Dulawan, Zamboanga del Norte police director, identified the arrested suspect as Ronie Degayo Maglangit, 39, a resident of Del Pilar village, Piñan.
Dulawan said Maglangit was arrested around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, February 16, in Purok Orchids, Poblacion north village, Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte.
He said confiscated from the suspect were a gram of suspected shabu packed in two heat-sealed plastic sachets worth P6,800 and P1,000 marked money.
Dulawan said the suspect was detained while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are set to be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
