AUTHORITIES have arrested one of the most wanted persons in a law enforcement operation in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
The Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula identified the arrested suspect as Ricardo Baldonado, 61, a resident of Purok 4 in Panubigan village, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur.
The police said Baldonado was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 3:57 Tuesday, September 5, in Purok 3, Kagawasan village, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur.
The police said Baldonado is the number one most wanted person in Pitogo and has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape without bail issued by a court in San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur on February 11, 2023.
The arrested suspect was placed under the temporary custody of the Pitogo Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
