TWO people were arrested while some P14,500 worth of suspected “shabu” were seized in two separate one-time big-time (OTBT) operations Zamboanga City, the police said Thursday, March 28.
The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the arrested suspects as Denmark Zuasola, 23, and Danilo Alfonso.
The police said Zuasola was arrested in OTBT through drug bust at 2:55 a.m. Thursday at Ranchez Drive in Baliwasan village.
The police said confiscated from Zuasola, a construction worker, some P1,500 worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) packed in four heat-seal plastic sachets and P300 marked money.
Alfonso was arrested in OTBT by way of service of search warrant around 3:20 a.m. same day at Juan Barrera Drive in Mampang village, the police added.
The search warrant against Alfonso was for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued by the court of this city.
The police said seized from Alfonso’s possession were some P13,000 worth of suspected shabu packed in 12 heat-sealed plastic sachets placed in a sling pouch.
