POLICEMEN have arrested a pastor for illegal possession of firearms in a law enforcement operation in Zamboanga Sibugay province, the police reported Thursday, August 17.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula, identified the arrested pastor as Bernard Roblico, 57 of the Baptist Church.
Gavlez said Roblico was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of search warrant in Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay on Tuesday, August 15.
She said confiscated from the residence of Roblico were one .9-millimeter (MM) luger MOD TEC KG9 sub-machinegun, one .9-mm Kel-Tec P-11 pistol, ammunition of different calibers, and other firearm accessories.
Roblico was placed under the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Zamboanga Sibugay Field Unit for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
