THE 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division, the premier unit of the Philippine Army, has donned ranks to 10 newly promoted personnel during the flag-raising ceremony Monday, November 16, 2020.
Two officers, a major and a captain, were also welcomed by the command during the event, according to Major General Generoso Ponio, commander of the 1st Infantry Division, who led the activity.
Ponio said the pinning of the Tabak patches to the two officers is a welcome gesture to the newly assigned trooper.
Ponio, in his message, welcomed the two officers and congratulated the 10 personnel for their well-deserved promotions.
Meanwhile, the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association Incorporated (AFPSLAI) Pagadian City Branch donated two televisions to the 1st Infantry Division.
Anabelle Marcaban, AFPSLAI manager, in his message, has assured the loan institution's support and assistance to the Tabak Division.
Ponio has thanked the AFPSLAI for the donations and conveyed that it will boost the morale and welfare of the troops. (SunStar Zamboanga)
