POLICEMEN have arrested in an intelligence-driven law enforcement operation one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, an official said.
Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested wanted person as Constancio Abrinica Crapatanta, 56, a construction worker.
Duco said Crapatanta was nabbed around 2:45 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at the airport in Minaog village, Dipolog City, the capital of Zamboanga del Norte.
Crapatanta has a standing warrant of arrest for attempted murder and has been listed as the number 7 most wanted person in Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte.
Duco said the court of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, in its warrant of arrest dated January 28, 2015, has set a P120,000 bail for Crapatanta’s temporary release.
Crapatanta was placed under the temporary custody of Liloy Municipal Police Station prior to commitment to court. (SunStar Zamboanga)
