AUTHORITIES have arrested in a law enforcement operation one of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Friday, August 28, 2020.
Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspect as Lorenzo Emit Montohin, 35, an employee of a fishing firm.
Duco said Montohin was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 10:20 p.m. Thursday in Maasin village, Zamboanga City.
Duco said Montohin is listed as the Top 9 Most Wanted Person of Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur and has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape with no recommended bail issued on April 27, 2006, by the court of San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur. (SunStar Zamboanga)
