THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) finished a P50 million road project, improving connectivity between Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao.
The new road links Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte; Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur; and Don Victoriano Chiongbian, Misamis Occidental.
"The project serves as a crucial inter-provincial route that facilitates the movement of people, goods and services across the three provinces," the DPWH-Zamboanga Peninsula stated.
The General Appropriations Act of 2024 funded the road project. The Zamboanga del Norte 1st District Engineering Office in Segabe, Piñan, implemented the project. (SunStar Zamboanga)
