AUTHORITIES have arrested three suspects as they dismantled a drug den in a law enforcement operation in the province of Maguindanao del Sur, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Thursday, August 6, 2026.

The PDEA in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Barmm) identified the arrested suspects through their aliases as Johari, 32,the drug den maintainer; Antoy, 21; and Aldamar, 28.

The PDEA-Barmm said the three suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation that resulted to the dismantling of a drug den Tuesday, August 4, in Purok 7, Digal villge, Buluan, Maguindanao del Sur.

Confiscated from the suspects were seven grams of suspected shabu packed in 14 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets worth P47,600.

Also recovered were the buy-bust money, various drug paraphernalia, and one cellular phone believed to have been used in the illegal drug transactions.

The arrested suspects are now under the custody of the PDEA-Barmm Jail Facility and will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The anti-drug operation was launched by PDEA-Barmm with the operational support from the police, and 21st Mechanized Company. (SunStar Zamboanga)
