THE City Government of Zamboanga has purchased two new mini-buses to augment the city’s current fleet of vehicles.

Mayor John Dalipe said Tuesday, October 24, 2023, that each mini-bus costs P4.9 million or for a total of P9.8 million and has a capacity of 29 passengers each.

Dalipe said that the purchased of the two vehicles is in line with the city government’s program to upgrade its equipment and facilities for the convenience of government employees and the general public.

He said the two units mini-bus will augment the city’s current fleet of three buses which are intended to further assist Zamboangueños and non-government organizations as well as support city government activities through the means of transportation.

The two mini-bus were inaugurated Monday, October 23, in front of City Hall.

The inauguration was preceded by the blessing rites officiated by Fr. Filmore Calibo.
