THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Zamboanga Peninsula has completed P14.9 million farm-to-market road concreting project, improving access between agricultural areas and urban markets in Zamboanga del Sur.
The DPWH-Zamboanga Peninsula said the project located in Barangay San Antonio, Tukuran, covers a length of 720 meters and a width of 6.10 meters.
"This farm-to-market road aims to improve access between agricultural areas and urban markets, transforming what was once a difficult route into a vital link," the DPWH-Zamboanga Peninsula said.
"The project improves transportation efficiency, boosts economic opportunities, and improves the quality of life-especially for rural communities that rely heavily on agriculture," the DPWH-Zamboanga Peninsula added.
The project was undertaken by the DPWH First District Engineering Office in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. (SunStar Zamboanga)
