1 fisherman missing off Cavite

ONE fisherman reportedly went missing after a sea accident off Cavite province early Friday.

According to radio report, initial investigation said a tugboat "Hagonoy" snagged on the fishing net thrown by fishing boat "Aleja" and rammed the fishing vessel off Sangley Point in Cavite.

It added 66 fisherman and crewmembers were rescued after the incident.

One fisherman, who was not immediately known, was reported missing.

The report also said a search for the missing fisherman is now being conducted by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and local authorities. (Sunnex)
