MANILA -- President Benigno Aquino III made a new round of appointments in the justice, agriculture, social welfare and education departments, a Palace spokesperson said Sunday.

Deputy Presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said Aquino designated Teresita Deles, the current Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, as an oversight member in the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP).

The President also appointed 225 superintendents in the Department of Education, 106 officials in Department of Agricultural, and 37 posts in the Department of Social and Welfare and Development (DSWD). (Virgil Lopez/Sunnex)
