THE Safety Seal Committee (SSC) has awarded John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation Inc. in Bacolod City with its Safety Seal Certificate after complying with the city's minimum health protocol to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Mayor Evelio Leonardia, together with Safety Seal Committee Chair Stela Rose Rayos, led the awarding of the certificate to the private maritime college represented by Engineer Roberto Neal Sobrejuanite, administrator, recently.

Jollibee-Lopue's East Centre, Jollibee-Bonifacio, UCC Coffee, School for Creative Beginners, City Mall Mandalagan, Mang Inasal-City Mall Mandalagan, Mang Inasal-Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Penshoppe-Ayala Malls, Our Home-SM City, Miniso-SM City Levi's-SM City, received their Safety Seal Certificates from the Bacolod City Government Safety Seal Committee last November 8, Rayos said.

JBLCF-Bacolod, like the others that earlier received the Safety Seal, was commended by Leonardia for doing their part in the fight against Covid-19.

The Safety Seal Certification Program was launched to affirm and acknowledge that an establishment or public transportation unit is compliant with minimum health standards, using or has integrated StaySafe.ph with its contact-tracing method, and a holder of the requisite business permits or franchise.

Those awarded with the Safety Seal will be allowed an additional 10 percent onsite capacity beyond the prescribed capacity percentage as per IATF Resolution 127-A series of 2021.

Rayos said that more establishments will be issued similar certificates in the next few weeks.
