BACOLOD City Evelio Leonardia has told City Trade and Tourism Industry Consultant Lawyer Juan Orola Jr. to get the necessary information including requirements for members of the local business sector to participate in two international expositions.

The China Asean Expo is slated from September 10 to 13, 2021, while the Dubai Expo will be sometime in October 2021 and March 2022.

Jhong Javier of the Bacolod Investment Board, in a virtual meeting with officials of the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (Citem) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), said these expositions can provide opportunities to businessmen in the city.

Orola, in a press release, said he recommended the mayor to assist businessmen for their participation in these trade and business events.

“Their participation will provide economic stimulus to the people of Bacolod City and Negros Occidental,” he added.

The consultant urged interested enterprises to coordinated with DTI-Negros Occidental Small and Medium Enterprise Development head Engiemar Tupas through EngiemarTupas@dti.gov.ph, or Orola’s email juanorola@gmail.com. (PR)
