The switch-on ceremony was led by Mayor Neil Lizares, Vice Mayor Samuel Siote and other City Council members, barangay officials, and Ceneco personnel headed by area manager Dennis Fernandez.

Beneficiaries and residents of the said barangay also attended the activity.

Ceneco, in a press release, said the electrification program was funded by the local government.

The project aims to provide electricity to far-flung areas through the assistance of the cooperative that pushes for sustainable rural development, it added. (PR)
