THE Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) has earned a special citation as the Most Outstanding Chamber for 2022 from Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) recently.

PCCI cited MBCCI’s highly-commendable advocacy initiatives like the Rice and Road Project and Cattle Industry Development Project that provides livelihood support to women entrepreneurs and children affected by the pandemic.

The recognition was given during the 48th Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBCE) at the Fiesta Pavilion, The Manila Hotel on October 19, 2022.

PCCI President George Barcelon, 48th PBCE Chairman Ambassador Alfredo Yao, PBCE Committee Chairman Ferdinand Ferrer, and MOCA 2022 Chairman Alberto Fenix led the awarding rites.

Receiving the award were MBCCI officials led by Roberto Montelibano, Frank Carbon, Dwight Carbon and Atty. Juliana Carbon.

Anchored on the direction that the Philippines is ready and open for business, there were several topics discussed during the three-day sessions.

These included Technological Breakthroughs in Agriculture, organized by the Agriculture and Fishery Committee; and Opportunities in digital innovation, organized by the Innovation Committee.

The MBCCI officials were grateful for the special citation that they earned which, for them, is reflective of their commitment to delivering positive results in the various initiatives and efforts that they made to boost business-related endeavors that are attuned to the current methods with the aid of technology.
