Checkpoints set up in Nueva Ecija

POLICE in the province of Nueva Ecija have set up checkpoints as they investigate the killing of Licab town Vice Mayor Luisito Caraang.

Caraang was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle-riding men at 5:10 a.m. Saturday when he was about to enter his home.

Police have yet to identify the suspects.

They are also looking into the motive of the killing as the vice mayor's family said he had not mentioned receiving any death threat. (Sunnex)
