FOREIGN Affairs spokesman Eduardo Malaya said they will not give any other details on a Filipino who might suffer the same fate as Sally Villanueva, Ramon Credo and Elizabeth Batain for being involved in drug trafficking.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) earlier admitted there is another Filipino national facing possible execution in China.

“We have to respect the person's right to privacy. If a person does not want to expose his name to the public, we will not do that,” Malaya said Friday.

The DFA official, however, added the Filipino's family is “cooperating and coordinating” with the government regarding developments of the case.

Meanwhile, the DFA, on Friday, called for a “holistic, coordinated campaign” against illegal drug smuggling syndicates in the wake of the execution of Villanueva, Credo and Batain in China. (AMN/Sunnex)
