MANILA -- Total performer Iya Villania will grace the theatre scene in her upcoming musical "The Wedding Singer".

Iya takes the role of Julia Sullivan, which was played by American actress Drew Barrymore in the 1998 movie of the same title.

“Meron parin namang kaba, syempre meron talaga yun but the Julia Sullivan here is different to Julia Sullivan in the movie.”

Joining Iya in "The Wedding Singer" the musical this October 23 is another theatre and main stream singer Gian Magdangal. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
