THE world now evolves unpredictably. No one can foresee what will happen next as nature is sending out its wraths, citing the incidents of flash floods and other nature-related disasters coupled with the persistent threat of the Covid-19 pandemic and its new strain.

People have less economic productivity because of these unpleasant conditions.

But, it's good that despite the depressing climate, the people's innate nature to help one another comes out when urgency dictates.

Help came in folds from various sources whether it's food, clothing, and other necessities.

The government alone cannot supply all the needs of the people who were affected by the recent disasters therefore the private sector came in and assisted the needy in whatever way they can.

This showcases the true character of Filipinos and Negrenses alike wherein, it is natural for us to help others even when we need help too.

We have the heart of the good Samaritan as we supported and helped each other.

Despite having limited resources given the fact that Covid-19 has slowed down our finances, many people still extended help because as they said, "no one will get poor in giving thus people give."

Let us not therefore hesitate to help when we are faced with these situations because the universe knows how to repay us by giving us opportunities to be blessed so that we can continue to be a blessing to others.

Disasters come and go. Let us ensure our safety as a community so that we can still enjoy hereafter.
