MEMBERS of Marapara Rotaractors, the youth arm of the Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara, armed with paintbrushes and rollers, recently spruced up the classrooms of the Emiliano Lizares National High School in Brgy. Granada in Bacolod in readiness for the new school year 2019-2020, starting in June.

The Rotaractors’ initiative, dubbed “Bayanihan PaRAC sa Edukasyon”, was launched to support Barigada Eskwela 2019 with the theme “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan”.

Rotaractor’s president, Roland Leonillo, said “We were honored to have the opportunity to support the school by donating paint and working hand-in-hand with the school’s Brigada Eskwela chair, Mrs. Jovy Jane Casiple and Grade 9 coordinator Mrs. Lira Eduardo.”

He added that Marapara Rotaractors will continue efforts to aid the education system and in so doing serve the nation and support Filipino youth.
