JUST like any other occasion or event, a post-party celebration came next as a means to cool down and an opportunity to exchange pleasantries as well as sharing of challenges that they withstood in achieving success of the most prestigious beauty pageant -- the 69th Miss Universe competition held at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States recently.

Negrense fashion designer Kirsten Regalado was among those who had actual experience on how the 69th Miss Universe pageant was mounted with the collaboration of the experts in the field of fashion designing, production, and the pageantry in general, shared the moments with the newly crowned Miss Universe 2020 Miss Andrea Meza of Mexico, Miss Universe Philippines candidate Rabiya Mateo, Miss Universe Mauritius Vandana Jetta, Miss Universe Armenia Monika Grigoryan, some former Miss Universe candidates and Regalado's team which were instrumental in dressing up some Miss Universe candidates in this year's competition.

They partook Filipino foods at Lutong Pinoy 2 Restaurant at Pembroke Pines, Florida.

But Miss Universe organizer also hosted a VIP exclusive reception for the newly crowned Miss Universe -- Mexican Andrea Meza.

Seventy-four candidates competed during the 69th edition of the Miss Universe pageant and Miss Universe Mexico succeeded in winning the prestigious crown followed by the first runner up Miss Universe Brazil Julia Gama, second runner up Miss Universe Peru Janick Maceta, third runner up Miss Universe India Adline Del Castillo and fifth runner up Miss Universe Dominican Republic Kimberly Jimenez.

Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo landed in the top 21.

Kirsten Regalado was grateful that she was made an instrument to be part of the prestigious beauty pageant particularly in dressing up some Miss Universe candidates in collaboration with her team, the children, and also Filipino artists who helped her various wardrobe designs and creations.

Kirsten is from the town of La Castellana who migrated to the US to seek greener pasture. Through her hard work and determination, she was able to gain entry into the world of fashion -- in a foreign land.

She continues to mentor some local artists so that they can also gain experience and grabbed opportunities that could help them hone their talents with the mentoring of the experts.
