The Best Shots: Ruby MassKara photo contest winners

THREE of the 20 photographers in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental who competed in the 2nd Congressman Greg Gasataya photo contest during the Ruby MassKara festival were declared the winners in the mobile phone category during the final judging and awarding held on Sunday, November 17, at Robinsons Place Mall in Mandalagan, Bacolod City.

The winners in the said category are: Flozard Andrew Gedalanga, champion; Jenny Rose Doromal, second place; and Von Ivy Uy, third place.

For the digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera category, the winners are: Joel Tabuada, champion; Kristine Terante, first place; Giovanni Sanchez, second place; Mark Kevij Badayos, third place; and Mark Linel Padecio, fourth place.

The contestants have shown their artistry and mastery in capturing spectacular and stunning scenes.

Gasataya expressed his appreciation to those who participated in the event, saying that their efforts of capturing important scenes that would remind people of the recently concluded festival.

He also thanked his partners in making the event possible as he congratulated all the winners for giving their best shots.

Gasataya said he is looking forward to more participation in 2020 as he continues to support local photographers in honing their skills in photography.
