A ONE year and three months old baby girl drowned in Bario Daan, Barangay Guinpanaan, Moises Padilla on October 25.

Based on the report of Corporal Winston Adlaon of Moises Padilla police, the baby girl, together with her eight-year-old sister, was playing outside the house of their grandmother that is located five meters away from the riverbank.

The elder sister left the victim for a while to drink water inside the house, but when she came back, she could not find her baby sister anymore.

Their neighbors found the victim's body floating on the river around 9:40 a.m., more than two hours after she went missing, the police report stated.

Adlaon said the incident could not be considered as flood-related case brought about by Typhoon Quinta because it happened before the heavy rains poured.

The family brought the victim's cadaver to the Nalagon Funeral Home.
