A TOTAL of 130 street loiterers or "tambays" violated some ordinances in Bacolod City from July 6 to 8.

Records from Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) showed that 72 operations were conducted on the curfew for minors, anti-smoking, drinking in prohibited places, and anti-nudity.

In a press release Tuesday, Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana, public information officer of BCPO, said 42 persons were warned after they were caught drinking in public places while 14 persons were also cautioned after they were seen half-naked in public places.

For curfew for minors, 35 teenagers and children were rescued and turned over to their respective barangays and families.

Meanwhile, 39 persons were also fined for violating the anti-smoking ordinance.
