Merlinda A. Pedrosa

Grudge or involvement in illegal drugs are the possible motives being looked into by the Police Station 10 operatives in the killing of the former drug surrenderee at Purok Narra Phase 4, Barangay Handumanan in the city past 6 p.m. Friday, February 4.

Major Richard Fajarito, commander of Police Station 10, said the suspect, who gunned down Joseph Joscon, 46, of the barangay was not identified as he was wearing a helmet.

Investigation showed that Jocson was buying liquor at a nearby store when shot with an alleged .45 caliber on the head. He died on the spot.

Fajarito noted that the area was not well-lighted and they have no witnesses.

He said they were informed that the victim was also earlier convicted for the crime of robbery in Muntinlupa City and engaged in illegal drugs activity after he was released.*
