2 armed men rob collector

A COLLECTOR of a lending firm was robbed by two unidentified armed men at Barangay Manlucahoc in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental Tuesday, June 19.

Police records showed that Aljun Barredo, 24, of Barangay 3, Kabankalan City, was driving a motorcycle on his way to Sipalay when he was waylaid by two assailants.

One of them threatened the victim at gunpoint and declared hold-up.

The robbers carted away his company-owned motorcycle, and a bag containing sales collection amounting to P5,000, cellular phone worth P2,400, wallet, driver’s license, Identification cards, and P350 in cash.
