2 killed in Negros Occidental shootings

TWO men were shot to death in separate incidents in Negros Occidental on Monday, January 30.

Killed in Barangay Macagahay, Moises Padilla was Divine Anobong.

The victim talked to one of the suspects at the banana grove near his house when he was attacked by the perpetrators.

According to the victim's brother, Anobong was chased by the six perpetrators who shot him multiple times. He died on the spot.

The police have yet to establish the motive for the killing.

In Sipalay City, Marvin Malla of Barangay San Jose was gunned down at Barangay Gil Montilla when he attended a birthday party.

During their drinking session, He allegedly got in a heated argument with the suspect identified as 32-year-old Ryan Bandiola

This was after the victim allegedly started to act unruly, which reportedly triggered the suspect to shoot and hacked Malla.

The suspect surrendered to the authorities and is now in police custody.* (MPE)
