2 robbery suspects arrested

TWO robbery suspects, one of them a minor, were arrested at the Bacolod City National School (BCNHS) in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City on Saturday morning, September 21.

The suspects were identified as Walter Mondragon, 18, of Purok Pagla-um, Barangay Taculing, and a 16-year-old minor whose name is being held by the police.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office, said the suspects were arrested by security guard Gualberto De la Cruz around 3:30 a.m. after they were caught stealing assorted items.

Recovered from the suspects' possession were three electric fans, two speakers, shorts, shoulder bag, cutter blade, and a broken padlock.

The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 6 and are facing charges.
