29 Bacolod barangays note zero Covid-19 cases

OF THE 61 barangays in Bacolod City, 29 have recorded zero new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the last two weeks, while 14 others only have at least three new infections.

Areas with zero Covid-19 cases since November 9 are Barangays Alangilan, 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 40 and 41, the Emergency Operations Center-Task Force (EOC-TF) said.

Barangays Punta Taytay, Montevista, 4, 5, 11, 18, 19, 31, 36 and 39 recorded one case each, while Barangays 7, 14 and 17 have two cases within 14 days.

Handumanan, meanwhile, has three Covid-19 infections during the same period, the task force added.

In a meeting Monday, November 22, with Mayor Evelio Leonardia and local Inter-Agency Task Force head Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, Executive Director Em Legaspi-Ang of the Emergency Operations Center-Task Force expressed confidence that with continued public cooperation, they hope to sustain the downward trend.
