3 drug suspects arrested in Bacolod

OPERATIVES of Police Station 3 apprehended three alleged drug personalities in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City past 6 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021.

Police Major Richard Fajarito, commander of Police Station 3, identified the suspects as Helen Pitogo, 40; Gene Abuhat, 56; and Dionisio Mot, 42, all residents of the barangay.

Fajarito said the suspects were arrested after one of them sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession six sachets of suspected shabu weighing 1.35 grams and valued at P9,180, the P500 marked money and other illegal drug paraphernalia.

Fajarito said Pitogo was identified as a street-level individual in Bacolod City and that she was under surveillance for almost a month before her arrest.

The suspects were detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 3.

They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
