THE Bacolod City Council condemned the killing of the Philippine Councilor’s League Negros Oriental Chapter president and Municipality of Siaton Councilor Miguel Dungog and conveyed its deepest sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family.

Councilor Em Ang, who authored a resolution which was approved during the regular session on Wednesday, said the Philippine Councilor’s League Bacolod Chapter is condemning the brutal fate of the councilor and is hoping for the speedy investigation so that justice may be served.

On March 25, two unidentified suspects riding in a motorcycle shot and killed Dungog while he was walking to the Silliman University Medical Center from his parked vehicle.

“The Bacolod City Council pays respect and deeply mourns the passing of Councilor Dungog, offers a minute of silent prayer for the eternal repose of his soul,” Ang said. (MAP)
