Bacolod councilor positive for coronavirus

A MEMBER of the Bacolod City Council tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the city last week.

A reliable source told Sunstar-Bacolod Monday, May 3, 2021, that the city councilor, whose name is being withheld, tested positive for the virus along with his wife.

Both of them, who were hospitalized on Friday, were confined in a hospital while the other members of their family were also placed in isolation.

A family of the councilor also confirmed to Sunstar-Bacolod that the councilor still had symptoms of Covid-19, while his wife is now "okay."
