THE Bago City Hospital was again placed under lockdown on Saturday afternoon after its personnel were exposed to a coronavirus disease (Covid-19) positive patient.

The city government, in an advisory, said the obstetrics and gynecology patient who has contact with the hospital personnel is from Pulupandan town.

The patient went to the hospital on December 4 with a negative swab result.

However, the repeat swab conducted by the Philippine Red Cross yielded a positive result, it added.

Hospital services were temporarily stopped and will resume today, December 7.

Previously, the hospital was also closed after several personnel including doctors were also exposed to Covid-19 patients.
