A RESTAURANT was robbed by still unidentified suspect at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13 beside a hypermarket in Barangay Poblacion, Bago City.

Based on the report of the Bago City Police, Shiela Marie Turbela, 18 years old, sales attendant of Euans Sizzlers revealed that while she was conducting inventory of her sales inside the store, an unidentified person armed with unknown short firearm came from behind and immediately declared a hold-up at gun point.

The suspect then grabbed and took the money amounting to P2, 300 and threatened her not to shout or something bad will happen to her.

The suspect immediately escaped towards Bonifacio Extension St. Barangay Poblacion, Bago City after getting the cash.

Meanwhile, a 57 year old resident of Barangay Caliling, Cauayan died in a traffic accident on July 13.

The victim was identified as Eduardo Lombo while the suspect was identified as Richard Lirazan, 32 year old of Barangay Inayawan of the same town.

Based on the report of the Cauayan Police Station, a Nissan Urvan driven by Lirazan was travelling from South to North Direction when it accidentally hit the victim who was crossing the road in Sitio Catungawan, Barangay Caliling.

The victim died on the spot.

The driver was held at the custody of the Cauayan Police Station while the vehicle was impounded.
