BCPO awards 3 top performing police stations, personnel

THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) awarded three top performing police stations and some personnel for their exemplary performance against illegal activities and criminalities in December 2018.

The awarding rites was led by Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, acting BCPO director, at the city police headquarters on Monday, January 7.

Awarded for the accomplishment on the anti-illegal drug campaign was Chief Inspector Charles Gever, head of Police Station 8.

Senior Inspector Rey Tolosa Jr., head of Police Station 4, was also recognized for having the most number of arrested persons and biggest volume of confiscated illegal drugs in police operations.

Senior Inspector Leo Estopa and Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, heads of Police Stations 2 and 10, respectively, were recognized as top performers in the campaign against loose firearms.

In the campaign against illegal gambling, awarded as a top performer is the Mobile Patrol Group led by its new officer-in-charge, Superintendent Adonis Rosales.

Also commended were Chief Inspector Jovil Sedel, head of Police Station 1, and Police Officer 3 Pablito Medina Jr. for their noteworthy accomplishments in the service of warrants of arrest.

“Medalya ng Mabuting Asal" awards were given to Senior Police Officer 1 Richly Caña and Police Officer 1 Ann Rose Bartolome.

Meanwhile, Ebreo, in his message, encouraged the personnel to continue performing their job in the years ahead and be always morally upright. (Christopher D. Yanson, CHMSC-Talisay intern)
