BFP-Bacolod gets new firetruck

Sunnexdesk

THE Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Bacolod City had received another brand new Rosenbauer fire truck from the national headquarters last week.

Chief Inspector Publio Doctora Ploteña, fire marshal, said the new firetruck was funded by the National Bureau and was brought to the city, also through the efforts of the City Government of Bacolod.

The firetruck is called BC-624 after it was blessed on the Feast of St. John the Baptist Sunday, June 24, at the San Sebastian Cathedral.

Ploteña said the new firetruck is “another great asset in fire suppression which can significantly increase firepower and decrease structural damages in the city."

The city fire station now has two Rosenbauer fire trucks aside from the other existing fire trucks. (GYM)
