THE Ceneco (Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc.) Union of Rational Employees (Cure) has terminated the services of lawyer Rey Gorgonio.

In a letter to Ceneco acting general manager Arnel Lapore dated July 20, Man Alienbardo, Cure acting president stated, "the Cure executive officers and board of directors issued several board resolutions which we believed that the management need to be informed. This is to formally inform the management and the Board of Ceneco that the union officers decided to terminate the services of Atty. Rey Gorgonio effective immediately. Hence, all his actions are no longer related to the union."

The new legal counsel of Cure is Atty. Joseph Brian Perez, Cure stated.

"Furthermore, we would like to inform the management that we are condemning the action of Felix Gepilga, Mary Grace Bermudez, and Pearl Joy Ortiz together with Atty. Rey Gorgonio for filing the notice of strike for the disruption of industrial peace," Alienbardo also stated.

Gorgonio is the lawyer of consumers who filed the petition against the joint venture agreement between Ceneco and Primelectric Holdings, Inc.*
