Cops identify suspects in jewelry shop robbery

PERSONNEL of Bacolod City Police Station 2 have identified Monday, November 5, two of the four suspects who allegedly robbed a jewelry shop with an estimated P250, 000 worth of jewelry at a shopping mall in Bacolod City on November 4.

Authorities posted on their Facebook page the photos of a man and a woman behind the "salisi" incident, who were captured on a closed circuit television camera (CCTV) footage of the establishment.

Senior Inspector Leo Estopa, head of Police Station 2, said these suspects are members of a "salisi group" operating in the city.

The four unidentified robbers carted away a box containing assorted jewelry past 11 a.m.

Policemen immediately coordinated with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Maritime police, and Aviation Security Group for the possible escape route of the perpetrators.
