CSC confers NegOcc with Prime-HRM Bronze Award

THE Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through its Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) has been conferred with the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource (Prime-HRM) Bronze Award by the Civil Service Commission through Resolution No. 1801457 dated December 4, 2018.

The award was received by Human Resource Management Office head lawyer Anabelle Palic and chief of staff of the Governor Dr. Jonathan Lobaton at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Manila, Wednesday, July 24.

On March 14, 2019, the CSC national office confirmed the recommendation of its regional office to confer the Prime-HR Bronze Award – Maturity Level II Accreditation after going through a series of assessment and evaluation last October 24 to 25, 2018.

The award confirms that the provincial government’s PRIME-HRM is compliant with the Level 2- Maturity Indicators in four core HR Systems particularly Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP), Learning and Development, Performance Management and Rewards and Recognition in the Enhanced PRIME-HR using three lenses, namely: Systems, Practices and Competencies.

PRIME-HRM is a banner program of the CSC that aims to successfully transform the agencies’ HRM system, competencies, and practices to elevate public sector HR to a level of excellence for good governance and for efficient and effective public service delivery.

Aside from the provincial government, the cities of Bago and San Carlos were also among the 103 LGUs, GOCCs, and SUCs all over the country who received the award.

The said award grants the provincial government the authority to approve appointments, subject to post audit and endorsement or recommendation for scholarship grant offered by other institutions, among others. (PR)
