THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Bacolod City required all proclaimed Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials to undergo the mandatory training prior to their assumption to office.

The training will be conducted by the DILG in partnership with the National Youth Commission, Local Youth Development Office, and UNO-R.

In her advisory to the proclaimed SK officials dated May 15, Madayag said that non-attendance to the scheduled training without any valid reason shall be considered an instance of deliberate failure to attend the mandatory training, and shall be grounds for disqualification under the Republic Act 10742.

She said the SK officials should bring accomplished SK Mandatory Pre-Registration Form, proof of payment of registration fee and valid identification card.
