Drinking session leads to hacking, 1 dead

A MAN was dead after he was allegedly hacked by his uncle at Purok Guinam-an, Brgy. Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental Monday, January 23.

Police identified the victim as 42-year-old Lito Pabrua.

The victim and the suspect identified as 59-year-old Francisco Roce got into a heated altercation due to a grudge during a drinking session.

This allegedly prompted the suspect, who was armed with a bolo, to attack the victim, who succumbed to multiple hacked wounds.

The suspect immediately surrendered to the barangay officials.* (MPE)
