MAYOR Marxlen Dela Cruz confirmed that Don Salvador Benedicto will feature its new fiesta pavilion during this year's Panaad sa Negros Festival.

Dela Cruz said that the Municipal Government had demolished its old pavilion at the Panaad Park and built a new one worth P8 million.

He said that of the total budget, P5 million came from the 20% development fund of the Municipal Government while the Provincial Government gave a counterpart fund of P3 million.

The construction of the new fiesta pavilion that features the mountainous town is already complete, Dela Cruz said.

“We will be doing the landscaping, which could be completed before April 5,” Dela Cruz said.

Aside from the new fiesta pavilion, Dela Cruz also said that Vallacar Transit Inc. of the Yanson Group of Companies donated a municipal bus to the town. It will be blessed on Friday, April 5, at the Panaad Park. (TDE)
